Modern Remodel of Kentucky Kitchen and Bath 2012

This project entailed a modern remodel throughout an 1840’s historic structure in Covington, Kentucky. The challenge here was to create a new interior for a client with very modern taste in an 1847 mansion. At both the kitchen and master bath I used sleek lines in the ceiling details and cabinetry to accentuate the difference between the old house and the new work. New, wide plank wood flooring was installed at the kitchen; existing wood floors were stained dark. Walls were painted in white and and shades of grey.
