This is another recent design drawing of one of my projects in Cincinnati (pigment liner, gray markers, and pencil eraser on white trace paper). Like a lot of the illustrations and sketches I’ve shared before, this one was done as part of a series to explain a proposed design concept to my client. Executed in a couple of hours, this is a view of a soon to be remodeled kitchen and living area.
Bold marker strokes and shafts of light created with a pencil eraser give this drawing a sense of fluidity and movement. My aim in a drawing of this sort is to explain the overall design concept as well as to suggest some of the details and materials that I am thinking about.
Thanks for looking; hope all of your projects are going well!
